St Enoch and St Elijah Monastery (SEASEM) is for disciples of Jesus with an interest in the experiential theology of theosis. Our community life embraces ascetic effort, prayer, kenosis, or the emptying of self, and the experience of God. We live a contemplative life of silence, prayer, liturgy, biblical study, works, creativity and rest. Our commitment is to the individual's path of theosis - the dedicated journey toward our union with God. Please see our website for retreat information, the oblate programme and for stays in the monastery's self-catering cottage. The monastery rests on many acres of lush forest with waterways and gardens where people come to experience the Peace that passes all understanding.
