Civic Theatre

The centrally located Civic Theatre is within walking distance of many eateries and accommodations within Invercargill, and a five-minute drive from the airport. It is available for a variety of occasions and performances, with a range of amenities offered. Up to 1015 people can be seated in this architecturally significant performing arts and events venue. There are also several other spaces available for hire within the building, each affixed with state-of-the-art technology to make your next event all the more memorable. The Civic Theatre is a Category 1 historic place and a prominent landmark in central Invercargill that was built in 1906. It underwent a $15.8 million upgrade in 2004-5.
