Our mathematics activity books step parents through every skill (called 'learning intentions') in the New Zealand Mathematics Curriculum (Years 0 to 7), so that they can actively engage with their children by speaking the same language teachers are using in the classroom. Parents learn the 'modern mental strategies' they may never have been taught themselves.
