WSB Club

The vision of W.S.B Club is to reach, help and unite all Filipino who are in New Zealand, especially to the Filipino migrant workers. Currently the rate of suicide among the Filipino community has doubled. In many Asian culture mental illness carries a lot of stigma around it, we often deny or neglect it as a Filipino. As a group we encourage them to participate in playing sports such as basketball, volleyball, etc. We believed that by being involved in sports activity would help them improve physical fitness, emotional and mental stability, particularly for those players whose families are not yet here in New Zealand. The W.S.B Club values is to promote peace, unity and love across all our activities and also in a wider community.
