...has guided us on our path of crafting certified organic wine, liqueur, and fruit juice.
This process began with growing, 50 years ago, in 1971. Leaving the hustle and bustle of Detroit far behind, Dale DeMeulemeester, and a group of friends purchased the Lothlorien Winery property in the heart of Ahuroa an hour North of Auckland. They planted Feijoa trees, Poormans Orange trees, other fruits and timber trees amongst the rolling farmland and native forest.
Fast forward roughly 20 years when Dale's eldest son Eli DeMeulemeester established the winery with Dale and winemaker Logan Petley.
Today, at Lothlorien Winery, we produce award winning wine, liqueur and fruit juices.
