Black Barn is a small family owned vineyard facing to the North on the lower slopes of Te Mata Peak just outside Havelock North. This position means it is a spectacular location both for growing predominantly Bordeaux grape varieties and making it a memorably place to visit. Its hand-picked, small volume vintages constantly receive outstanding accolades and many are available exclusively from the cellar door. As well as its wines, Black Barn has gained a strong reputation as a 'must see' destination for those visiting Hawke's Bay.
