Curran Engineering

Curran Engineering Ltd was founded by John Curran in 1961 as a steel engineering business focusing on steel for structural support for large commercial buildings. In 1976 a production manufacturing business was added to Curran Engineering to manufacture shop fittings for the shop fitting industry. In 1988 and 1989 two of John's sons Tom and Jeff joined the company and bought the company when John retired. In 1990 we purchased a Bright Zinc Electroplating plant in order to bring the metal finishing of our shop fittings under our control, to speed up lead times and ensure a top quality product was produced. In 2006 a Powder Coating plant was installed to service our own growing need and the needs of other associated Hawke's Bay companies
