As a pharmacist, I often found it frustrating that diet and lifestyle did not play a bigger role in helping clients get control of their type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and elevated blood pressure. This lead me to study naturopathy so that medications were not the first line of treatment and that together we can achieve great outcomes using food as medicine.
