Beverley holds a DMA and FTCL in singing and runs a busy studio in Hamilton teaching singing, piano and theory. She enjoys teaching students from a wide range of ages, cultural and educational backgrounds from her home studio and preparing them for exams, competitions and auditions.
Beverley carried out independent research considering the relationship of the cricothyroid space to vocal range in female singers, which was subsequently published.
Beverley has had numerous lead operatic roles (including four world premiere) with varying opera companies in New Zealand and overseas. Operatic roles include: Queen of the Night (Magic Flute), Miss Jessel (Turn of the Screw), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus) , Butterfly (Madama Butterfly), Madame Hertz
