Hospice Waikato operates 8 opportunity shops throughout the Waikato. The Lake Road store also has a Warehouse which is open on Thursday 10:00 - 2:00pm. We sell a range of quality recycled goods including furniture, clothing, shoes, bedding, books, home ware, bric-a-brac and more.

Arts for Health is a creative space for anybody who wants to use the arts to be well. You may be a beginner or a more accomplished artist. Either way is fine with us. Come for an hour, half a day or a whole day - you choose what works best for you. We supply basic materials as part of your $5 donation, and we have friendly art tutors to give you ideas if you are feeling stuck. If you feel that your art skills are a bit rusty, we also have art workshops which run every term, and for those wanting to try something different there are art therapy workshops for adults and children. If you are interested in meeting new people, or taking out time for yourself Arts for Health might be perfect place for you.

The Sports Recreation and Outdoors Trust (SPROUT) is a charitable, voluntary and non-profitable trust to educate, encourage, promote and provide opportunities in sports, recreation and outdoor pursuits to achieve greater wellbeing for people of South Asian origin, but not limited to South Asians, in New Zealand. Also, awareness and promote science, technology and mathematics inclusive of but not limited to kids, children, youth and seniors. Our major services are: 1) Sports and Games 2) Recreation, Cultural and Regional events 3) Outdoors like trekking, nature walks etc. 4) Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics 5) Job Search, Career and Professional growth 6) Yoga, Pranayam, Meditation and other spiritual wellbeing.
