I first started a fashion business in South Korea called "Anima & Animus" as a fashion designer, and as I made my move to New Zealand, I began a clothing alteration shop in Browns Bay and have been fixing clothes ever since.
In our day and age of fast fashion, I wanted to give my two cents on sustainability and repairing the clothes that we already own to make something new, in place of contributing to the fashion industry's annual waste.
Each piece of clothing holds a story and every time we alter a little bit to extend its life time, the story continues. When I alter these clothes, they become something unique to its owner, because there is nothing else like it.
