Gisborne Petanque is based at the Kahutia Bowling Club, 165 Cobden Street, Gisborne. The Petanque area has a gravel surface and has been built to the standards required for National and International Competitions. For normal use, the area is set to provide 5 lanes - plenty of room for singles, doubles or triples matches. The Petanque area is open during daylight hours to all members of the Gisborne Petanque Club as well as full and social members of the Kahutia Bowling Club. Membership of the Gisborne Petanque Club includes the use of the Kahutia Bowling Club facilities, but not the use of the bowling greens.
