After 28 years employed in the Insurance industry, Stephen joined Wizard Home Loans as Principal of the Gisborne Branch. Wizard Home Loans was a brand owned by General Electric who provided mortgage funding to directly compete with the main banks for prime lending. When the global financial crisis hit, General Electric stopped providing mortgage funding and closed all Wizard Home Loan branches in 2008. Stephen created the brand Mortgage Sure in 2009 and has continued to apply his knowledge and experience to help people achieve their goals in home ownership.
