Hello, my name is Elisa. As a child I spent many hours helping with the family's authentic Italian bakery. The tradition of bakers started with my nonno (grandfather) Amedeo during the second world war. Amedeo was the owner of the only mill in his village and he supplied the entire village with flour. He had a large family, two sons and seven daughters, and at that time it wasn't easy to feed so many people. For this reason, he decided to open a small bakery next to the mill. My father Agostino inherited the little village's bakery and decided to grow it into a professional bakery that produced every day fresh bread, cakes and pizzas.I take great pleasure in bringing my family tradition and love for good Italian food to New Zealand!
