Asbestos Awareness NZ

Asbestos Aware was created by current New Zealand asbestos industry professionals with extensive laboratory, fieldwork and consulting experience. The aim of the course is to provide candidates with an overview of asbestos, the locations it can be found, some of the main products it can be found in, the health consequences and a general increased understanding of asbestos. Some basic information around the requirements of asbestos surveys, testing facilities and clearances (following removal) is also provided. Armed with this basic information, our hope is that it will be enough for workers to stop and question materials before they disturb them, this will help to keep both themselves and those around them safer.
