Charlie Baxters, is an independently owned and operated free house. Home to an ever-changing selection craft beer, there is always something new and interesting to try from a variety of New Zealands Independent breweries. We also host a fine selection of wines and spirits. Our food menu might be small, but don't dismiss us for that. Everything from the seasoning on our fries to our slow cooked BBQ ribs is home made with love and it shows! Located in the centre of Ellerslie township, you would be forgiven if you didn't notice this hidden gem at first. The stressed outer paint work may look out of context, but once you enter the cosy interior and warm welcome from our friendly staff shine through.
