Dunedin Children's Choir

The Dunedin Children's Choir is a choir for all 7-12 year olds in the Dunedin area. The choir rehearse at 3.50 - 5pm each Wednesday afternoon during the school terms. Our philosophy at the Dunedin Children's Choir is that of developing excellence in choral singing, building strong musicians through a sequential Kodaly-based musicianship programme, and of equal importance is creating a welcoming community where all children feel that they are valued. We believe that all children should be able to access high quality music education, and that the choral setting is an ideal way to be able to do this. In choir, all children play an equally important role and work together to create a unified sound.
