Poplar Estate, established in 2015, is a multi-purpose destination in Central Otago, New Zealand. Visitors can enjoy fresh, local produce from their daily market stall, explore their nut shop and honey farm, including our famous Olive Oil or simply admire the beauty of their native plantings and well-maintained pond. The estate also offers unique experiences like farm tours and even caters to weddings and private functions.

Jackson Orchards is a family owned and operated orchard just outside of Cromwell. The original orchard was in the Cromwell Gorge before the flooding of lake Dunstan between 1969-1989. We start our fruit season in Late November with our first Cherries and our season continues on until April with Apricots, Peaches, Nectarines, Plums, Greengages, Apples & Pears. Our Fruit Stall offers seasonal fresh fruit & vegetables, a range of local New Zealand produce and honey, fresh fruit ice creams, smoothies & juices. We offer a guided orchard tour throughout the year where you can handpick your own fruit during late November right through to April.

We are an Urban Farm that supplies plants and produce to local markets, and pick your own (PYO) cherries from mid December to early January. We also welcome guests through Airbnb to enjoy our hospitality and experience the culture of a farm stay , throughout the year. Seasonal plants and produce available at local Farmers Markets (Remarkables Saturday)through summer and at farmgate on thursdays spring to Autumn.

Opening Monday 16th December.Fresh quality cherries available for sale in our shop. White cherries or Rainiers available when ripe in late December. Orders for courier deliveries open online.
