Founded in 1864 by founder Jean Desire Feraud, Monte Christo is the birthplace of Central Otago wine. Located in the Alexandra Basin, We are a family-owned winery focused on producing high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our organic estate vineyards. Feraud's original winery has been meticulously restored, and this heritage building now serves as our cellar door. Join us for walk-in tastings, or book in advance for private experiences. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon in our laid-back garden, where you can savour culinary delights from "Fritzy," our cherished food trailer cafe.
