The Maths Room NZ

The Maths Room NZ is located in Christchurch, but sessions can be taken online so students all over the country may apply to enrol. All sessions are 45 minutes and are carried out in a 'mentoring' style which builds confidence in maths capability. Students receive one-on-one tuition. The Maths Room caters for students from Year 6 -13 and is a specialist in algebra and calculus learning so provides support for students studying Cambridge & IB syllabuses as well as NCEA. Secondary school topics are covered in parallel with each individual's school programme, however sessions are tailored to individual's needs. Primary School students benefit from getting pre-exposure to maths concepts and a wider appreciation of how maths works.
