Kerry started his apprenticeship at the age of 19 working for a central heating company in Christchurch and spent the next 2 years installing log fires and wetbacks with a craftsman plumber. He moved on to work for some of the bigger plumbing firms in town over the course of the next 12 years before starting A1 Plumbing, and has now spent over half his life in the plumbing game.
