Papuni Boxing Otautahi is a community-based boxing gym and youth organization in Christchurch, New Zealand. We offer a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn boxing, fitness, and self-defense. Our programs are designed to build discipline, resilience, and teamwork, while promoting health and well-being. We are committed to empowering rangatahi (youth) to reach their full potential.

No-Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

We take pride in the knowledgeable, dedicated, and decorated instructors that were hand selected to be here to help you accomplish your goals. The depth of knowledge amassed by our instructors in very fun application will be a great advantage to anyone who likes learning the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/Self Defense. Whether you are training for fun, hobby, competition or looking for a new fitness routine our Academy has something for you. We proudly offer world renowned instruction in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi) and submission grappling (No Gi). We have Kids Classes, Teens, Women's Jiu-Jitsu, Men's Jiu-jitsu, Private Lessons, Self Defense, and a children's martial arts program.

Master Song, (English Name: Zak) an authentic and professional Kung-Fu/Wushu Master, a genuine elite trainer & coach in New Zealand from Shaolin, China. He has been training, performing and teaching Kung-Fu/Wushu for 26 years and specialises in Traditional Shaolin Kung-Fu, Contemporary Wushu, Sanda (Kick Boxing), Qigong & Tai Chi. Master Song has won numerous competitions/championships and taught many students from around the world with all ages (children/youth/adults), some have also won international championships! He also performed & participated in many world renown stage shows & TV programmes when he was in China! He has been teaching students and running training classes in Christchurch, New Zealand since year 2013.
