Lumiere is a boutique movie & film cinema located in the Arts Centre's West Lecture building of Christchurch, New Zealand. Lumiere has two theatres - The Bernhardt seating 67 and The Bardot which seats 42. We feature state-of-the-art technology with vintage ambience, luxurious seating and a focus on service. Our lovely, cosy and warm Bijou Bar caters for your taste palate, while you enjoy an outstanding view of the Christchurch Botanical Gardens at our doorstep.
