Nikau Cave & Cafe

Nikau Cave is one kilometre long, has a stream running through it and is in its natural state. The tour departs from the cafe and usually takes one and a half hours, bookings are essential and you will need a full change of clothes. Designed to showcase the beautiful natural landscape of the area, our cafe is bordered by a stream and sits below green hills studded with dramatic limestone rocks. We serve a seasonally inspired menu, sourcing local food where possible. We have large vegetable gardens and a flock of multi-coloured chickens supplying us with free-range eggs all year round. There is a range of indoor and outdoor seating. We roast our own coffee on site and and serve a range of espresso coffee options.
