Vivace Restaurant

A well established business in the lower CBD Auckland beside Britomart, Vivace is in its 30th year. Vivace has a warm casual ambience serving Mediterranean cuisine. It is close to the city's theatres for pre-show/film festival dining - a short, 5 minute walk to Spark Arena. There is separate, intimate bar hidden behind a set of large barn doors, rather like the Speakeasies of old. A good selection of spirits, beers and a great selection of wines and cocktails. It has an extensive selection of tapas/small plates with larger main course dishes to follow. The chefs have a good understanding of the importance of caring for those with food allergies with a large proportion of the dishes having no gluten added and a separate vegan menu.
